This was AMAZING food and simple!! I got sweet tea (oh my, so delicious) and the quiche of the day which was just so very very good it was crazy. I mean, I want like a pizza size of this quiche. It had spinach and broccoli and little peppers.. oh man. The she crab soup was good...no major chunks of crab and it was a lot thicker than the one at Olde Pink House (it was cooked with sherry it seemed, rather than drizzled on top). My mom got the chicken salad sandwich half and half salad and loved hers as well. I want to come back! But I live so far.... Also, we saw some squirrels scurring around. Super cute.

Stopped in for a brunch type snack on Mother's Day as I had forgotten to eat breakfast. Everyone was very kind and I ordered the appetizer size shrimp and grits and sweet tea. The tea was delicious and the food was good. (Best shrimp & grits is at the Saltwater Creek Cafe.) I would definitely stop here for lunch again when visiting Brookgreen Gardens. Again, the sweet tea was fantastic. It is rare that you get it just right when ordering out - not overly sweet and not needing more sugar. Perfect. And thank you for the flower!

Good food, friendly service, great value, and conveniently located inside an air conditioned building in Brookgreen Gardens. I took my family to the gardens recently and we decided to try the on site restaurant out. I hadn't been before because I assumed everything would be overpriced and mediocre. I was pleasantly surprised to see how wrong I was. Everything on the menu is very reasonably priced and their portions are crazy large. I ordered the shrimp and grits and absolutely loved it. I couldn't finish it all but didn't think taking the leftovers with me would've been a good idea. It was hot outside and we didn't have a cooler. Too bad though because I would've loved to finish it later. The rest of my family had the burger, the chicken salad wrap, and a bowl of she-crab soup. They all said everything was great. The next time I head out to the gardens, I won't hesitate to drop by the pavilion restaurant again. It's so convenient to not have to leave the gardens to grab a bite and a bonus that the food is good and the prices reasonable.

Best shrimp and grits I've ever tasted! I say tasted because the boyfriend got them and I scooped up a spoonful (well... several spoonfuls) and they were absolutely delicious. We had plans to go back a second time before our vacation was over so I could get my own plate but alas it didn't work out. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and they top it with their she crab soup. SO GOOD!!! I actually had one of their specials...an apple, sausage, cheese etc quiche with a cup of the she crab soup. It was also excellent. But I was totally jealous of the shrimp and grits the whole time. The restaurant is cute with huge windows that look out over part of the garden area. The waitstaff was also very pleasant and the person I'm assuming was the manager was very attentive. Will definitely be back to eat here... it may even be one of the main things that pull us back to Murrells Inlet!

Instead of going out of the gardens for lunch, we decided to try the appetizers that the pavilion restaurant had to offer. It was a good choice! The quaint, comfy eatery had unique canvas portraits and designs on the walls and featured ceiling to floor windows to see out to the gardens. My girlfriend and I decided to split the fried green tomatoes and spinach and artichoke dip. The tomatoes were some of the best I had ever had. The spinach and artichoke dip was very creamy and cheesy and was exactly what you would expect a typical dip to taste like.... No complaints! I would definitely like to try their full lunch courses next time I come to the gardens!

Unbelievable experience...The food was incredible and reasonably priced! Service was excellent! If you go to the gardens you have to treat yourself! The french dip is awesome and I had the white bean and ham soup withe an appetizer plate of spring rolls, phillo pastries with chicken salad and fresh fruit cup... i will be back!!!!

Surprisingly good! The she-crab soup is the real deal, all food made on premises. Salads are very nice.
